Before and After

The boys being silly. I love spiking Ethan's hair!
These were taken a few days before the burn accident. It's funny how it doesn't even seem important anymore! But we spilled apple juice all over the kitchen floor and in the fridge. We had to take EVERYTHING out of the fridge and wipe it off. It seemed like such a big deal at the time. But after Ethan's feet were burned it's like nothing else mattered anymore. Plus it was nice to come home from Children's Hospital and have a clean fridge!

The boys loved cleaning the fridge out!

Here is Ethan recovery on the couch! Charlie's work gave him a gift card to Toys R Us and Ethan used it to buy this rescue boat, a batman toy for Elliot and some stuffed animals for the ambulance company. On that note---- the first ambulance E rode in gave him a really nice stuffed moose, named Tommy. He was soft and cuddly. Tommy brought such comfort to E as he waited in the first ER and then transferred to Children's. He decided he wanted to buy some toys that could help other children when they are scared or in pain. We were so proud of him!

Here are some pics from this week at school. I love these boys. They are a blessing!

These were also taken the morning of the burn accident. We were studying the Ice Age. the boys dressed up for the lesson and then later played a game called "Belly Full of Ice". It was a silly game to show how cold everything must have been during the climate change after the Flood. The point of the game was to see who could keep a piece of ice of their stomach the longest.....Charlie won!

All in all we are getting back to normal. Ethan has had tremendous healing take place in his feet. It will take about a year to completely heal. He will have some scars, but not too bad. We are thankful for all the prayers and support. It has been a learning time for our whole family.
