The boys and I are back from an incredible vacation with Charlie! This past week Charlie had off and it was wonderful! The first part of the week we hung around the house and worked on the basement, cleaned the gutters(thanks sweetie!), swept out the garage, had carpet installed, spent time with friends, read books, had tickle fights and thoroughly enjoyed each others company! Then on Thursday we headed down to our big city. We stayed in a brand new hotels--the stickers were still on the windows!! We splashed in the pool and enjoyed eating out and exploring around town. We even got to check out Legoland which was really cool! It's amazing what people can do with Legos. There was a lego ride and even a "factory" tour on how legos are made. The boys loved it!! We put some effort into finding a storage unit for the basement at IKEA. On our second visit we found something that works out perfectly! We're very thankful.
Our time with Charlie was great because we got to be with our favorite person in the whole world---CHARLIE. And somehow-- whenever he's with us- it's like the whole world stands still and we can a deep breath and know everything is good. My husband is amazing for so many reasons, but to see hm playing and spending time with the boys I am again reminded how truly blessed I am to have him!!!

I firmly believe that little boys, big boys and mommies can get stuck in Lego Land for hours on end. =)
what a great time. God is so good at chosing just the right mates and children for us - isn't He!!!
